About social exclusion or "the right to have rights"

Defending human rights is an important aspect of the medico work: How can projects contribute to the improvement of living conditions in places the psychological integrity of the people is not guaranteed? Yet the violation of rights doesn’t only take place within politically unjust relations. Worldwide people live under circumstances that, with their lack of prospects and adversity, violate the human dignity. This is why medico connects its human rights work with the everyday-fight for social equality, education and health.
